About Ruby Kanchi Warriors

Ruby Kanchi Warriors is one of the eight franchises which participated in the inaugural edition of the India Cements Tamil Nadu Premier League which was held from August 24 – September 18, 2016. Organized by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), the TNPL is a miniature model of the successful IPL T20 model with franchises from different parts of the state playing across three venues – Chepauk (Chennai), Natham (Dindigul) and Tirunelveli. The TNPL 2016 featured players who are registered under the TNCA and was telecasted by Star Sports.

Ruby Kanchi Warriors, the franchise based out of Kanchipuram District is owned by Ruby Builders and Developers.

About the Project

Considering the fact that it was the first edition of the tournament, the franchise had to start from scratch and needed to have a strong web presence that would provide the base to grow multifold over the upcoming seasons increasing the popularity and thus the brand value and net worth of the franchise.

Website Front

The project involved building the complete website of Ruby Kanchi Warriors featuring information on the team, players, matches, standings and publish blog posts on the happenings throughout the tournament inclusive of Live Commentary.

About the Process

Framework and Static Content

After a session of brain storming with the representatives from Ruby Kanchi Warriors, the official website’s basic framework was created in the Studio. The frame work had to ensure a base for building a quality user interface retaining the brand colors and a swift user experience inclusive of the mobile responsiveness. Once the frame work was revised and eventually finalized, the website started taking shape with simultaneous work being done on the static content by the team of writers from Sportwalk Blog.
